Songbird Adele, whose album 21 was the number one album in the United States in 2011 and 2012, is speculated to be making a comeback at the Oscar telecast in late February of this year.
This would be the first televised performance of hers since giving birth to her son-whose name is still a mystery-in October.
Her song “Skyfall” from the James Bond movie of the same name, is one of the front runners for the “Best Original Song” category. The movie franchise is celebrating its 50th anniversary, so a tribute and a performance may be in the works.
I hope so. Skyfall was an amazing song. She was the right choice for it.
